1:First, update your business hours, post pictures, get reviews, and respond to them.
Set up your profile with all your social media links, phone number, website address, and business address if applicable. On the app, options are limited, but if you go on the desktop, you'll find more settings and customization options.
2:The next mistake is people not forming partnerships.
Partnerships can take your business to the next level because you just need one solid partnership to provide enough business for your entire career. I'm talking about partnerships with caterers, venues, photographers, wedding DJs, event planners, wedding planners, and others in the event industry. Spend time each week contacting these people and building relationships. Add them on Facebook, send them small gifts, and set up networking calls. You never know, you might even make some friends along the way.
3:The next mistake is not creating YouTube videos.
What am I doing right now? I'm making YouTube videos! Video content allows you to connect with your audience, show what you do, and share your knowledge. Making videos is simple – just hit record on your phone and start talking.
It's an excellent way to establish your expertise, attract potential clients, and boost your online visibility.
4:Another mistake is not optimizing your Facebook.
Facebook is a powerful social media platform that can be used for business promotion. Make sure your Facebook profile presents you as a professional business owner.
Create a header that mentions your photo booth rental business, with a call to action to get a quote. Share content related to your business to let people know about your services, equipment, and expertise.
5:The last significant mistake is not using Google Ads.
Google Ads is one of the best ways to promote your business to potential customers actively searching for your services on Google. They even offer three months of free support and $75 in ad credits.
People turn to Google to solve their problems, so if they're searching for services like yours, your ads need to be there. Just allocate a budget for your ads – it's a worthwhile investment.
