Are you considering venturing into the exciting world of photo booth rentals in 2023? If so, you're in for a thrilling journey, and I'm here to guide you through every step of the process. ]
Hi, I'm Adam, from GO360BOOTH, and I'm thrilled to share my experience as I establish my very own photo booth rental company right here in sunny Southern California. In today's blog post, I'll walk you through the essential steps I've taken before ordering my photo booth to ensure a smooth start.
Step 1: Research and Education
The first thing I did when I made the decision to start this business was to sign up for virtual demos from industry leaders. I needed to expand my knowledge and gain confidence.
I attended demos from both Photo Booth Supply Co and GO360BOOTH, and I can't stress enough how insightful and beneficial these experiences were. They not only answered my questions but also provided valuable tips and tricks from experts in the field. If you're interested, I've included a link to the GO360BOOTH demo in the description.
Step 2: Choosing the Right Package
With a wealth of knowledge from the demos, the next step was to select the right package for my business.
GO360BOOTH offers six different packages for two different photo booths, and I ultimately decided to go with the GO360BOOTH.
As a complete beginner in this industry, I wanted something easy to transport and that would help me get comfortable with the business. So, the Starter Package was the perfect choice for me.
Step 3: Building Your Brand
Creating a brand identity for your business is crucial, but it can be overwhelming, especially if you've never done it before.
That's where the Photo Booth Supply Co guide, "How to Start a Photo Booth Business," comes in handy. This comprehensive guide helped me immensely with branding, legal aspects, and tips on getting my first event.
You can find a link to it in the description. I discovered that the color blue signifies trustworthiness, and after some trial and error in Canva, I came up with a logo that I'm proud of.
Step 4: Establishing an Online Presence
Social media is a powerful tool for promoting your business, and I knew I had to use it effectively.
I created an Instagram account dedicated to my business and even collaborated with my personal account to reach a broader audience.
The response was overwhelming, and I received inquiries and opportunities from the post. It's essential to share your venture with friends and family, as they can be your most significant supporters.
Step 5: Future Plans
As I get closer to ordering my photo booth, I'm taking care of a few more details to ensure I'm event-ready for my first gig.
I'm creating a Facebook page, defining base pricing, and planning promotions for my initial customers. Following advice from Photo Booth Supply Co, I'll offer a significant discount to my first 5-10 customers to kickstart my business while conveying that these are temporary deals, not long-term pricing.
I'm thrilled to be on the brink of ordering my photo booth and getting my business off the ground.
In the next blog post, I'll share everything I'm doing after receiving my booth to prepare for my first event. If you enjoyed this blog, please like it and subscribe for more photo booth content. There's so much more to come!
Starting a photo booth business is an exciting endeavor, and I hope this step-by-step guide helps you embark on your own successful journey. Remember, each step is crucial, and with determination and the right resources, you can turn your photo booth business into a thriving venture.
